Alphabetical Order

This book was published as a final project for my undergraduate Introduction to Graphic Design course. The assignment was to capture a cohesive alphabet from found images, and produce layouts including original photographs and digital illustrations that were both aesthetically pleasing and representative of our personal style. Having spent a considerable amount of time in the linguistics department prior to declaring a major in fine art, I chose to include words with each letter that I felt captured some of their essence and contributed to their visual interest, as well as phonetic translations of each using the International Phonetic Alphabet.
